Madison Casson
Senior Showhome Designer
“I oversee all aspects of the showhome process from creating concepts, interior finishes and custom features, furniture and accessories, and the execution of staging the homes. My favourite part is creating the concepts, sourcing finishes that reflect the style and designing custom features.”
Madison graduated from Mount Royal University where she received her Bachelors of Applied Interior Design. She has been in the design industry for 7 years. She started her career working along side an independent Interior Designer who taught her the many aspects of the industry. In this role she worked on the Lottery Homes which gave her the knowledge for her future career at designQ. She began assisting clients with their selections, but soon transferred to the showhome team and in 2021 became our Senior Showhome Designer.
When she isn’t planning beautiful home concepts, she loves to paint landscapes and take her dog for walks in the river valley. Her favourite design style is mixing contemporary and traditional with organic natural elements. She also has a soft spot for vintage antiques and traditional wall moldings, but also appreciates the crisp clean look of contemporary furniture and interior finishes. Lastly, she loves the presence of natural elements within the home, such as plants or natural materials.
What I love most about my job is that it doesn’t feel like a job at all! It’s a creative outlet! I get to have fun and create beautiful homes.
